Pre-Launch Update #1

Pre-Launch Update #1

As we build momentum toward launch, I’ll be sending short weekly (or occasionally bi-weekly) updates to keep you — our trusted future investors, advisors, and earliest believers — in the loop on meaningful progress, learnings, and what’s ahead. These updates are meant to be quick, transparent, and focused on how we're executing against the vision we’ve all committed to: launching a storydriven, American-made brand that redefines golf culture and community through premium product, experiences, and content.

The Future of Business — and Why We’re Building Differently

We’re all watching the headlines: AI is coming fast, and many frame it as a story of disruption, dislocation, and displacement. At Four Letter Word Club, we see something different. We believe the next great companies will be Storydriven, quality-focused, relatable, and move with the speed of AI.Not just using AI as a bolt-on tool — but architecting from day one to work smarter, faster, and with deeper connection. Our vision is simple:A brand with history, heart, and community —and a business model that:

  • Operates more efficiently
  • Listens and responds to its members
  • Uses real-time insights to guide decisions
  • And creates value by bringing its audience into the story

This is why we’re building Four Letter Word Club the way we are:

  • Honoring a legacy that stretches back to 1884
  • Using AI to compress timelines, lower costs, and sharpen storytelling
  • And focusing on producing only what the market demands, in partnership with our community

For the 444 Founding Members, advisors, and investors:This is your invitation to help us prove that the smartest businesses of the future are those that blend Storydriven business principles, technology, and human connection. For me personally, I’m stepping into this new chapter with excitement. Four Letter Word Club is the immersive stage, and I’ll be here with you all: as the audience, the critic, and the cast member.

Let’s get into it —

1.  Progress Against Key Goals

This week, we officially set our launch dateJuly 4. It’s more than symbolic — it’s a deliberate nod to the American spirit and origin story at the core of Four Letter Word Club. Our brand ties directly to the first U.S. golf course in 1884 and the evolution of golf across America. The legacy of a club that’s been hiding in plain sight ever since — passed down, whispered and at times shouted about, and worn quietly by those who know.

Key accomplishments this week:

  • Finalized the launch brand narrative, centered on the idea that The Four Letter Word Club has always been here — just hidden in plain sight. We locked in a powerful throughline to guide product, content, and storytelling:"Respect the Traditions / Write the Traditions." Each collection honors the rituals and icons that shaped American golf — while giving members the freedom to create their own. From Magnolia Lane to Breakfast Balls, one truth remains: Americans don’t just play golf — they strive to do better.
  • Hosted a Masters preview gathering, sharing the first run of solar shield shirts and hat combos (see attached). The feedback was clear and enthusiastic:“I love the quality of the shirt.” “I’ve already been stopped by people asking about my hat.” “It’s been fun telling people about the Four Letter Word — they instantly get it.”We’ve started using this line when asked:“It’s from the Four Letter Word Club — the first American golf brand, built on the frustration and pursuit of doing better. I’m a member of America’s first golf club, which has been here since 1884… just hidden in plain sight.”

2. This Week’s Learnings

The product and story are working in tandem — and they’re opening doors. Whether it’s stopping someone in a parking lot or having a conversation on a tee box, this brand creates instant curiosity. The combination of quality and story is resonating, and we’re leaning into that momentum.

3. What’s Coming Next

  • Review revised product for launch
  • Finalize inventory and merchandising plan for launch
  • Continue AI content experience development
  • Prepare advisor toolkit and investor-facing content
  • Begin digital content pilots around lore, legacy, and launch themes
  • Secure trademarks and complete S corp paperwork

Thank you for being part of this journey from day one. This week, it became real. Let’s do better. —Pete
